| Overview | Christopher Wells is originally from NY but also lived in AZ and spent half of his IT career in APAC, in Tokyo, Japan. He is an IT professional, most recently having worked for an international testing and certification company, and VMware & NetApp customer, TÜV Rheinland Japan, Ltd. He currently lives with his wife and two kids in Morrisville, NC. He has been a Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer developing VMware Cloud solutions since September 2011. At NetApp, Chris creates VMware solution oriented technical content for Customers, System Engineers and Channel Partners. He also works closely with Product Management, Technical Alliance teams, and Development Engineering on the company's future strategies related to VMware solutions. In addition, he collaborates with third-party vendor organizations as required to achieve corporate goals regarding product integration and best practices. Chris is a current RHCE and VCP 3/4/5 & VSP certification holder and recognized as a strong contributor in the community via the vExpert award for 2011 & 2012. He is pursuing the VMware VCAP-DCA and VCP-DCD as well as the VCDX certifications. His other interests are in the areas of cloud theory, DevOps, *aaS, and new datacenter technologies. |
